Divine Spirit, all that You are, always were, and ever will be, for all of our ancestors, through all space, time, dimension, and all realms – we thank You for all of the blessings You have given us and for always showering us with Your love unconditionally. We bow to You in love and gratitude, and ask for Your grace to ease and heal us.
For any time anyone turned their anger towards us or we turned our anger towards another, in thought, word, or deed, whether intentionally or unknowingly – please help us all to forgive one another absolutely and without reservation, now and forever. Please and thank You.
For any time we felt the great shudder of fear under the weight and fierce fire of anger, and for the times we felt the deep, penetrating sadness under all of it, and for the times others acted out against us based on such feelings, and when we did the same to another – please help us to all forgive one another and to forgive ourselves, for all of it. Please and thank You.
Please forgive us all – all of our ancestors, relations and relationships, through all time – for having feelings of anger in the first place and for projecting any kind of violence out into the world, in any form whatsoever. Please help us to forgive each other completely – no matter what – for any meaning we made about each other, ourselves, the world, life, and You, Divine Spirit, and for anything that arose for us and throughout our entire lineage as a result of these actions. Please help us to forgive one another, forgive ourselves, forgive the world, and especially to forgive You, Divine Spirit – entirely and utterly, for all of it. Please help us to release any and all burden that we carry around these events. Please and thank You.
Divine Spirit, please help us to process and heal from any residue of anger, fear, or sadness remaining within us. Please help us forgive ourselves and each other for the existence of any darkness we hold inside of ourselves. Please allow us to feel this in a healthy way and free ourselves of holding onto this any longer. Please help us find and know the experience of the calming waters of contentment and inner peace. Please fill us with gratitude for all of our experiences around all of these events so that we can learn their lessons and live in unconditional love for one another, ourselves, and You, Divine Spirit. The breath is a wave on a great ocean of which you are a part. Imagine your body as luminous. As you inhale, the light brightens and expands. Visualize your breath and light merge fully and intimately with the entire Cosmos. Feel yourself rising, being lifted in the wave. As you exhale, imagine the feel of the falling wave on the Great Ocean. Let the breath breathe you.

Some tips for doing hard stuff:
1) Figure out what hard stuff you need to do.
2) Commit to doing one hard thing – for the next 10, 20, or 30 minutes.
3) Clear away everything. Bookmark all your tabs for later, make notes on a list for things you need to do later, close all tabs, all windows, and all notifications. It’s just you and this one difficult task.
4) Don’t let yourself run away.
5) Consider a change in perspective. Ask yourself: Why am I labeling this as “hard”? Maybe you could look at it as an adventure…or get curious about what may come up as you actually do this “hard” stuff.
6) Dive in and enjoy it!

No matter how ‘stuck’ or ‘blocked’ I felt, no matter what or how massive the wall I perceived was in front of me, there has always been a way through. I ask for my Higher Power for help, add a helping of gratitude, and as I step quietly out of my own way, I witness the path open before my very eyes. There is always a way. It just may not be quite what I expected…or maybe not even remotely like I expected. But there is always a way.

Oh Divine Spirit, Creator of All That Is, whatever and all that that is – thank You for the many bountiful blessings You have bestowed upon us and our lineages. We love You. Thank You for loving us. We come to You, knowing You are always here with us in all of Your great and vast nature.
For all of us and all of our ancestors throughout time, space, dimension, and all realms:
For all of the times we turned away from another, especially when in need, or times others turned us away, especially when we were in need, and for all of the times we felt we didn’t fit in, and times we were threatened by others who we felt didn’t fit in – please help us to all forgive each other and help us to all forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For any and all acts of greed, selfishness, a sense of superiority and entitlement, acts of domination, mistreatment and disrespect of one to another or another to us, and for the times others saw us as ‘less than’ or undeserving of our love, attention, compassion, and respect, and for the times we saw another like this – please help us all to forgive each other and help us all to forgive ourselves. For the times others took from us without asking permission and for the times we did this to others, for the times we were heavy-handed with others and for the times others did this to us – please help us all to forgive each other and to forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For all of the times we felt misunderstood, unseen, or unheard, and for the times we did this to others, knowingly or unknowingly – please help us all to forgive each other, for all of it, fully and completely. Please and thank You.
For all the times we were swept up in and overwhelmed by events beyond our control and we felt unable or unwilling to do anything about it, and when we felt weight of such events burden our hearts to the breaking point – please help us all to forgive each other and help us to forgive ourselves, no matter what, now and forever. For all of the times we witnessed violence, had violence brought down upon us, or any time we projected violence of any kind onto another – please help us all to forgive each other and to forgive ourselves completely. Help us to keep our hearts open and filled with compassion for all beings, including compassion for ourselves. Help us to clearly see that ‘the other is you’ in each other, and find enlightenment and illumination is this. Please and thank You.
For all the times we despaired around not being able to live in peace and prosperity together in the world, as one unified people, and for all that we made it mean about ourselves, each other, society, life in general – even and especially what we made it mean about You, Divine Spirit – please help us to all forgive each other, no matter what, for all that happened, help us to forgive ourselves, and help us to forgive You, Divine Spirit, for the part we felt You played in any of it, now and forever. and root ourselves in our own existence,

to enrich and develop a sense of inner stillness,
penetrating down to our very depths.
Rather than pursue things out in the world,
to turn instead into our own being
crystallizing our essence,
a distinct expression
of our own way.
As I stand beside this gentle giant,
I witness its sense of its own magnificence.
And what if we were to nurture that in ourselves?
