Here is an ancestral clearing prayer for abundance.
Divine Spirit, God, Great Father, Creator of all that is, You are known to us by many names but You are One. We love You. We thank You for the many blessings You have showered down upon us, known and unknown, for ever-holding us in Your Light, and for showing us with Your unconditional and unending love and grace throughout our lives and all through our lineages.
For all the times of plenty, when resources were rich and our bellies were filled, replete and nourished, and when sweet peace and love flowed freely within us and between us, and we all felt it deeply – we are grateful and we thank You.
We ask for all of us and our ancestors, through all space, time, and all realms:
For all of the times we couldn’t find what we needed – food, water, tribal connections, homeland, space to raise our families, nourishing rains and sunlight for us and our crops, any resource, including love and awareness of our connection to You, Divine Spirit – please help us all to forgive one another and all forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For all of the times we felt out of balance with the flow of abundance through money, not having enough, wanting more than we needed, times that we stole, lied, or cheated, the times we turned others away who were in need yet we had enough to share, and for the times when others did this to us…please help us all forgive each other and help us all to forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For the times of famine, pestilence, flood, times of fire and drought, times we felt so desperate to fill our empty bellies that we ate what grass we could find, and then the soil itself – for the times of disease and troubles of any kind, times we felt let down by others, ourselves and even You, Divine Spirit, please help us open and release the burden of these hardships and forgive each other and ourselves. Please and thank You. Please help us to forgive You for any role we thought you played in any of this, and please forgive us and help us to forgive ourselves for any time we turned our backs on You, Divine Spirit. Please and thank You. Please and thank You.
For all of the times we felt that life was all and only about struggle, times we just never saw Your presence in our lives and how we felt alone and abandoned, having to make it all on our own, times we felt powerless in the face of the events we were living, for the times we closed ourselves off from receiving from others for fear that we couldn’t return in equal measure or at all, and for anytime we felt unworthy of receiving – please help us to forgive each other, anyone involved, no matter what; help us to forgive ourselves, and help us to forgive You for what we thought your role in all of this was. Please and thank You.
For all of the times any of us felt we had lost our connection to You, Divine Spirit, and for our deep yearning to be actualized as a part of Your presence in our lives, for our longing for love from You, from each other, and with ourselves, please help us to forgive You, others, and ourselves. Let us feel Your love flowing freely within us and between us – now and forever.
