Higher Power, Divine Spirit, Holy Mother, Shiva, Infinite, Source, Oneness – You are known by many names, and You are One. We thank You for showering us with so many blessings and for Your eternal love. For all women and all our ancestors and relations through all space, time, and dimension, all realms, lifetimes, and incarnations –
For anytime we withstood violence and sexual abuse, verbal bullying or contempt from men, felt victimized by it, and projected it onto other women or anyone else, and for the times we turned such negative energy towards ourselves – please help us all to forgive each other. Help us all to forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For the trials and grief we experienced in child birth, including still births, abortion, sepsis, and anything else related to these events, and for the women who felt guilt or shame for being barren – please help us all to forgive everyone involved and forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For all the times we watched men go to war, knowing it went against our instincts as nurturers and guardians of life, and had to take on responsibilities for keeping the home front going, providing for and raising the children alone, and for all that happened as a result – please help us all to forgive one another and ourselves. Please and thank You.
For anytime we ceded our power to others, even though our heart told us not to, and for the times we felt less than or unworthy – please help us all to forgive all those involved, no matter what happened, and help us to forgive ourselves. Please and thank You.
For all the longings, desires, gratifications, and frustrations we experienced that went unheard, unnoticed, and untended, and for the burden we carried around it as we walked through our lives, and how heavily it weighed on our hearts for so long – please help us all to forgive one another and ourselves. Please and thank You. Please forgive us for anytime we turned our backs on You, Higher Power, because of what happened. Please and thank You.
For all the times we centered our lives on nurturing others, but lacked the models and therefore the ability to nurture ourselves, and for the times we put ourselves last and ran out of time or energy to care for ourselves the way we needed to – please help us all to forgive each other and ourselves. Please and thank You.
Please help us learn to maximize the joy in life, be open, stand in our power, and develop our self-confidence. Please help us to let go of past grievances and limitations, set and maintain healthy boundaries, and be courageous in saying yes to new opportunities. Please help us to revel in who we are and realize and nurture our magnificence. Please help us to always remember the love that is inherent in us and to see ourselves through Your eyes; through this, may we find fulfillment.
