Higher Power, God, Great Spirit, Divine Mother, Holy Father, Infinite One, Oneness – You are known by many names and You are One. We thank You for showering us with Your love and countless blessings. We ask humbly and gratefully for us and all our ancestors and all their relations, through all time, space, dimension, realms, lifetimes, and incarnations:
For all the familial and societal rules
that kept us from expressing our thoughts and feelings freely; for family of origin, historical, ingrained, persistent institutional, or personal patterns that kept us from reaching our potential; for any other conditioning that kept us from feeling whole; for any time we weren’t told the truth about spiritual matters and for all the suffering we endured because of dire disagreements, including religious wars, about what name to call You and about what Your true nature is, as if we could define Your infinite nature – please help us all to forgive each other and forgive ourselves.

For the times we experienced empathic hurts
or lack of empathy, humiliation, being treated with disdain, narcissism, tyranny, and any other mental, emotional, or spiritual illness; for the times we took on the burdens of others; for any time others took pleasure in our suffering, and for any time any of us did this to others – please help us all to forgive one another and to forgive ourselves.

For the times we survived through learned helplessness,
for victimization and for times we victimized others; for the times we equated making mistakes with weakness and when we were punished for our mistakes, and for anytime we did this to others; for any time our love for life was snuffed out by someone’s actions, and for any time we were involved in doing this to another – please help us all to forgive one another and forgive ourselves, for all that happened, no matter what it was.

For the times we just didn’t feel comfortable in our own skin,
for the times we went in search of something outside ourselves to avoid listening to and following our heart; the times we saw ourselves as flawed or defective, and the times we suffered from toxic shame; for the times we internalized the curse of the judgments of ourselves or others; for any time we succumbed to emptiness, low self-esteem, shame, fear, anger, confusion, or numbness, self-neglect, repression or denial, and for any other untruths that kept us from realizing who we truly were – please help us all to forgive one another and forgive ourselves.

For any time we experienced fear of rejection,
for abandonment, for any time we couldn’t trust others or ourselves; for addictions and compulsions, and for any time we paid a heavy price for our mistakes or our impulses, including disagreements, fights, battles, wars and holocausts, all that lead up to these experiences and all that emanated down into the lineage because of them – please help us all to forgive each other and forgive ourselves.

Please help us embody compassion,
self-love and healthy self-protection. Please help us release these ancient patterns for once and for all.
