How are you treating yourself today?
This is not to sound all preachy or anything like that… I am as susceptible to enticing ‘junk’ food as the next person. With that said, I offer this: Food is information for the body. What we feed it has a direct effect on how we will feel after we eat it and on the body’s ability to heal itself. Junk food is junk information… and so, not helpful to healing. Healthy food is given its name because of its healing properties and is paramount if we are to heal. Our food choices come down to this a simple question: is the food choice I am making going to help me heal or is it going to add to the junk load of information I am trying to clear in the first place? The answer to this question reflects our commitment to ourselves about our healing.
