REVIEWS FOR “The Way Through Chronic Pain: Tools to Reclaim Your Healing Power” BOOK:

“Whether you experience chronic pain or not, this book is a MUST read! Elizabeth Kipp has done a superb job in discussing chronic pain, what her personal journey was, and how she was able to find healing. “The Way Through Chronic Pain” gives practical solutions to real problems. From focusing on the power of our breath, to balancing a negative mind, to examining genetics and ancestral clearing, Elizabeth shines her wisdom light on chronic pain. Her “12 Steps of Chronic Pain” and “12 Steps of Wellness” are brilliant! Attention to our nutrition, self-care and a daily practice round out this very important book. Spread the word; this is an important book!”

“This book is a must-read for anyone on the healing journey after trauma. It provides important information about pharmaceutical drugs and the nervous system. A well written, beautiful balance between science and spirituality. It provides practical steps and an invitation to seek your connection to a higher power and is the perfect guide on how to support your body to heal itself.”

Leave toxic judgement behind and embrace the blessing of the now.

“Chronic pain is not just physical; it is emotional, spiritual, and psychic. It comes from generations past and lives loudly in the present instead of the present if not addressed. Kipp has written a book to lead us from being overwhelmed by the past and an [imagined] painful future to give us the Blessing of the Now. This book is filled with information lovingly detailed through personal experience and laid out in a way that is easy to follow. Kipp develops the theme by giving us a glimpse of the destination: The Healing Field, and then develops the path we can take in a clear concise manner. The sections at the back remind us of the tools she has given us through the book, a handy reference guide. Just start with the beginning Blessing, and you will know what “promises” this path can deliver. She leads the way; we do the work. It is worth it. We are worth it.”

5.0 out of 5 stars Elizabeth R. Kipp’s THE WAY THROUGH CHRONIC PAIN shares how to find healing through the flow

“I’ve known people over the years who have not just dealt with what seemed like debilitating illness and chronic pain but constant unrest as well. Finding relief is the ultimate goal, and with THE WAY THROUGH CHRONIC PAIN author Elizabeth R. Kipp shares not just what can keep us stuck when it comes to pain and how getting into the flow of life can lead to healing.

I love how she takes us back to the place where this pain might have begun, even reminding us that those who came before us didn’t have the ability or take the time to figure out what was causing them trauma. Things can be different for us, and that is what Elizabeth shares in the book. We can choose to get out of our heads and realize that by getting in the flow of life we can better cope with what comes our way.

Lots of practical tips are in this book, and though sometimes it might lead to seeing a professional you might be surprised at just how much you can benefit yourself by just becoming more mindful and not allowing the pressures of the world to paralyze you.

Practical in its approach and easy to read—full of opportunities for us to do a self-check—this is the kind of resource we can keep on hand for ourselves and share with others.”

The Way Through Chronic Pain by Elizabeth Kipp has me saying one word over and over in my head; Gentle. Gentle. Gentle. Elizabeth has led me through a panic attack and has the knowledge and skills from the perspective of being a sufferer of chronic pain and being in recovery. I have witnessed her in her daily spiritual and well-being practices and know she has found the way. I have witnessed her in teachings and class. This book is the perfect gift for yourself or someone you know who seeks freedom from the grips of physical, emotional, and/or spiritual pain. Pain is pain and it hurts. Our body cannot distinguish and we need to be gentle and loving with ourselves to get through it and heal. Genuinely heal with tools that suture the root. I not only recommend this book as a salvation for you or someone you love, but also connecting directly to Elizabeth. May you be blessed, be well and find the freedom and ease you seek.

I saw Elizabeth Kipp being interviewed–knew I had to her book. As impressed as I was, I was not prepared for the impact I experienced from just the “stuff before you actually get to the book”! The “Blessing” she wrote for the very beginning–which I now would totally expect of her–blew me away! The Preface: WOW! In it, she says she wrote the book for those with chronic pain, in health care, caretakers, and loved one who work with those with chronic pain. Well, I understood that meant basically everyone before I read her book, but after reading just a few pages, I realized that, while she was most certainly talking about chronic pain, Elizabeth–who in my mind deserves to be acknowledged as “Dr. Kipp”–was covering the topic in such a comprehensive, profound, yet elemental, human, spiritual and, somehow, at the same time, basic way, that anyone who had ever suffered from any type of pain–physical, emotional, spiritual, mental, etc., NEEDED to have this book in their lives!
This is not a book you “just read”. This is a book that becomes your friend, companion, guide, reference, and more. It is one of those that you will go back to again and again for comfort, and each time, you will discover something new. But also, it is simply so full of information, tools, ideas, etc., you will have to revisit it to learn and utilize them, and as a reference when you have a change or face a new situation. Since seeing her in that very first interview, I have come to know Elizabeth as many things– teacher, healer, author, and more–including a poet. She is a wonderfully made work of art herself–a unique blend of science and spirituality. This book, while an amazing scientific tool and guide, is equally so spiritually, and is truly put to paper by her brilliant mind, but birthed in and of her incomparable gentle, compassionate heart. I believe it is not a stretch to say that this is truly a reflection of her–a work of art– and is, to date, her greatest work of “prose”!

“Elizabeth’s words and experience speak to me like no other chronic pain book I have ever read.

As I read the book a second time, I realize this book is poetry that speaks to me in a way no other book on chronic pain has.

Just ordered two more copies to share.”

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read for chronic pain sufferers

“A chronic pain sufferer myself, I thought I knew it all, but Kipp’s book shows you how to get through to the other side of it. Yes, you have to work at it, but you have to work at anything great in your life. With great empathy and deep personal experience with chronic pain, the author shows you how to change your thinking, and your life, to be free from it. Read it and apply it! I have a copy of this book, and I actually worked on it as an editor with the author, and I’d still buy it! Impressive, moving, and a great contribution to the solution to a condition that affects millions.”

“I don’t have physical chronic pain but find this book incredibly relevant and immediately helpful for my chronic mental and psychological discomfort. So far, as I read it by opening it up randomly, it seems she has gathered together, coherently, information I have seen over decades, as well as the newly re-discovered science behind old wisdom. But there is a kindness, too, and an appeal to be gentle with ourselves. Organized, AND kind! A guidebook for me.”

“I’m reading “The Way Through Chronic Pain: Tools to Reclaim Your Healing Power” by Elizabeth Kipp. It has helped me to approach an old, seemingly intractable problem in a new way and has given my hope where I didn’t think it was possible.

I am really impressed with how accessible Elizabeth has made a very complex subject. I was skeptical before I read it because, having done a fair bit of research on the subject, I expected it to be dry, detailed, technical information that would be difficult to get into. It reads very easily – and I know it will be a valuable reference for me to reread again in the future.”
